Those in boldface were borne on the Colours, appointments, etc. Ten selected honours for each of the two world wars were borne on the King's/Queen's Colour. In 1958 the OBLI joined the Green Jackets Brigade (consisting of English rifle regiments), and was retitled 1st Green Jackets, 43rd and 52nd. In 1963 the regiment was constituted "henceforth" a rifle regiment, and ceased to carry colours in accordance with the custom for rifle regiments.
