Crimean War D.C.M. group of three to the Cameronians, namely to Corporal Richard Kinning, 90th Light Infantry Distinguished Conduct medal (Victorian) to Corpl R. Kinning, 90th Lt Inf (engraved naming); Crimean War medal 1854 bar Sebastopol (3146 Cpl R. Kinning, 90th Light Inf); Turkish Crimea Sardinian issue : Richard Kinning was born in the Parish of Mary-le-bone, London, and attested for the 90th Light Infantry at Westminster on 13 June 1853, aged 17 years 8 months. He was severely wounded on 9 July 1855, and was awarded the Distinguished Conduct medal (Medal ordered 23 June 1856)
